Description:
A card game joining two of Lewis Carroll's favourite digressions: the ten crew members from *The Hunting of the Snark* (1876) and the mechanics of his *Court Circular* game (1860s). Players form LinesTrios, Sympathy, Eminencewhile the Snark card lurks in the deck, threatening to turn Boojum and make one's winnings softly and suddenly vanish away. Three red suits (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs) because red clubs look rather like redcurrants, which seems a properly Carrollian justification.
