Description:
In 1880, the mathematician Martin Gall (real name Arnous de Rivière) published a card game so that anyone could play Roulette at home. The card designs derive from a cellular automata process, and many of them have intriguing names from the Faust legend, which was undergoing a revival in French opera at the time. We have made an updated version of the design with indices to improve playability, and invented some new simple introductory games for you to play.
