Description:
A game from the patents. In 1894, Altemus Irwin Paine of Newton, Mass. invented this pack that combined dominos with suits. A double-six domino set is repeated for Hearts and Crosses (red), Crescents and Stars (blue), and Spears and Diamonds (black). This makes for an 6x6 matrix of possibilities in game-play, in addition to new forms of leading and matching. We provide a simplified set of the rules of his game, Domino-Whist.
