Description:
A recreation of Franklin W. Cheek's 1907 card game, inspired by Jean-François Millet's painting "The Man with the Hoe," this deck features four suitsCapitalist (Gold), Architect (Pink), Mechanic (Blue), and Planter (Green). Played similarly to Auction Pitch, the game uses a unique two-tier trump system of "Social Leaders" and "Social Climbers." The cards have been redesigned for ease of play and feature Progressive Era engravings for the face cards.
