Description:
We took our edition of the 1896 Tsuchida Tenguya French pattern Hanatora pack, and substituted the German pattern Hearts, Hawkbells, Acorns and Leaves as the suits. Now people accustomed to playing in the German suit tradition can experience the joy of playing with a Hanatora deck. The back design is from an Alsatian woodblock of 1890. (A Hanatora pack is a Hanafuda pack with European card indexes to enable double play)
