Description:
The Game of Circumstance (Jeu de Circonstance in the original French) is a card game published in 1821. Six players vie for points while taking on opposing roles within an imaginary parliament. In addition to the cards, two sizes of tokens are needed to represent single points and tens of points respectively. This reproduction contains instructions in French and English, which include notes on playing with fewer than six people.
