Description:
Charles Graham Anderson's 1913 patent for "Diplomat" is considered a pioneering Western adaptation of Mahjong. This card game closely resembles the traditional Chinese tile game, with 136 cards divided into four sub-packs, each containing three sequences of nine cards and three honor cards. The cards feature distinctive markings, colors and devices to facilitate gameplay.
