Trick is a high-paced trick-based strategy card game inheriting the game dynamics of "Skat" and the simplicity of "Uno". The goal of the game is to either win as many or as little tricks as possible. The game starts with a bidding process to elect a leader who chooses between "Color" (one color is trump), "Flash" (only flash cards are trump) or "None" (player will win no tricks), emphasizing skill over luck. If no player wants to play, all player play for getting the least number of tricks in a "Chaos" round. Skat is one of the most popular German games played across all ages in casual and tournament settings. Trick inherits the essence of Skat's rules, reducing its complexity, and most importantly, making the majority of information that is necessary to play the game available on the deck itself. This allows also younger players to understand the games in a few minutes, yet making it clear very quickly that those who plan ahead and keep track of the game will win in the long run.
