Description:
In 1909, David Morrison, a surgeon of Gisborne, New Zealand invented a game that combined conventional French pattern symbols with domino layout, making a pack of 60 cards. In the patent document, Morrison suggests that the cards are "convenient for playing the games for which they are designed." While he doesn't go on to give details, they are suitable for playing most domino games when adapted.
