The Everyday Powers Tarot deck is designed to help novices learn and understand the underlying archetypes, allowing them to focus on interpreting the messages laid out in the cards. At the same time, it offers an alternative way of understanding the concepts of the Tarot to intermediate and advanced intuitive readers that can provide a deeper and broader understanding of the entire Tarot system. While the deck follows traditional Rider-Waite metaphors and meanings, it also expands on them. The inclusion of keywords on each card makes them easy to read and interpret. Face cards in each suit are decoupled from gender to focus on role rather than gender and to detach gender from power structures. In addition, the deck includes an entire new suit, Crystals, which are aligned with the element of Ether or Spirit. Available as full 92-card decks, traditional 78-card decks, and subsets of the full deck.
