Calle NueveCalle Nueve turns Cuban double-nine dominoes into a deck of playing cards. Every card is one tile, 0-0 to 9-9, all 55 of them, at real domino size (1.75 x 3.5 in) so the game plays the way it does at a Miami domino table.
Four players, two teams, ten cards each. Match the ends, block the table, and call it when you go out. The deck adds a how-to-play card with a QR code to the full rules, plus two cards of Cuban table talk so you can play with the right chucho.
Why cards? Tiles are heavy and loud. A deck goes to the beach, on a plane, into a backpack or a cruise cabin, and sets up on any table in seconds.
